IBS & Gut Health Dietitian in Mississauga

Our registered dietitians help you work through digestive symptoms such as IBS, bloating, and irregularity with a structured, step-by-step plan rather than an open-ended list of foods to avoid.

Our Approach

  • 1.Map your symptoms, usual meals, and any patterns you have already noticed.
  • 2.Use a structured elimination and reintroduction process where it is appropriate.
  • 3.Rebuild variety and fibre once triggers are clearer, then plan for the long term.

Who This Is For

  • Living with diagnosed IBS or ongoing digestive discomfort
  • Told to "try low FODMAP" without structured guidance
  • Wanting to widen a diet that has become very restricted

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diagnosis before booking a gut health appointment?

A diagnosis helps us tailor the plan, but it is not required to book. We do ask that you have discussed persistent or new symptoms with your physician to rule out other causes first.

Is the low FODMAP diet something I follow forever?

No. It is a short-term learning tool. The structured reintroduction phase is designed to bring foods back and land on the least restrictive pattern that keeps you comfortable.

Can gut health appointments be done virtually?

Yes. Most gut health work is education, planning, and follow-up, which translates well to secure video visits. In-person appointments at the Mississauga clinic are also available.

Will my extended health benefits cover this?

Many Ontario extended health plans reimburse registered dietitian services. Check your plan booklet for "registered dietitian" and we can provide a receipt for your claim.
